- Truss bridges are a little more complicated than beam bridges
- Start out by showing your students photos of truss bridges and ask them what the commonalities are
- All truss bridges are based on triangles

- Your students will have to create supports to implement the triangular aspect
- Allow 10-30 minutes for this activity, depending on the age and skill level of your students
