My grandson is very young...just 3 years old...but he is already stacking the Keva planks creatively and brings them out to play with every day. He LOVES for me (his "Grammie"), his Uncle, his Papa, or ANY willing person to build more elaborate things for him, so it is a very fun together-activity. This is an investment toy. It will not be put away with all the other "age specific" toys, or set aside because it has lost its initial appeal, as with so many things we spend our money on for our children and grandchildren. Seriously, these are so simple and yet provide endless opportunities for open-ended play. If you are a Grandparent or a childless relative who wants to keep one toy around for kids of various ages to play with, this would absolutely be my pick. They would also be perfect for a vacation house, etc. They are safe for toddlers to mess around with and stack and yet are fun for even adults to create with. You never have to go looking for a missing piece or have kids fight over a favorite one because they are all the same!”

"These are loved by all grades in our building, K-5. Each grade level approaches them a bit differently, and when left to just play/create with them, it is amazing what they come up with. I purchased some additional puzzle cards to go with them, but for the first few times I've put out the planks only, without any cards; they've been a huge hit.. Keva Maple Planks have been on my library's wish list since a guest brought them for a STEAM day a few years ago. I finally was able to secure funds for them, and I'm hoping to add a 2nd set of 400 next year.
