ping pong balls?

These work fine... But, I had been using ping pong balls with my classes to make ball tracks, and they'd been working fine. I got the "official" keva plank balls when I was ordering other stuff, thinking they would work better. Only to find, they're basically just expensive ping pong balls (I can't tell any difference than the logo).

From Grandpa John for grandsons 1500 miles away!

As for what I see and hear from my son Bryce and grandson Nathan they are enjoying these a lot! (youngest grandson will get hands on in a year or so) Keva has taken the cardboard box to a whole new level! For over 66 years including my own childhood It was always amazing how something so basic and simple attracts the imagination of the mind to build or create things. One could purchase a toy but most are driven to age specific use and fall by the wayside in time but I'm pretty sure these Keva Planks will not as I can hardly wait myself to go to my sons house and build things with him and my grandson (although my son wants me to build him a new basement interior first, that's another story though) The work and finish put into the Planks is exceptionally well done my son tells me which is why they stack so well! The cardboard box's only lasted a day or two maybe longer if from a refrigerator or heavy appliance and kept inside as long as mom and dad would allow. But I feel these planks will last for maybe a few generations and can always be expanded which is another plus!

Amazing customer service!

They went out of their way to make sure I got the best deal for my classroom. They also sent out a replacement set when the originally was lost in the mail, Fast shipping great customer service . Can't wait for school to resume!
